PHILOSOPHICAL AND SCIENTIFIC METHOD IN XAVIER ZUBIRI Abstract: The reflection on the method interests Zubiri mainly as a monstration that our intelligence is in reality and can move in an “endless march” through the bowels, by the inexhaustible depth of what exists and is possible. So the key issue in the philosophy and science of Zubiri is access to the truth. His description of the activity of intelligence, what he calls “insight”, reveals his methodical moment in all its complexity. Our research addresses especially his conception of scientific method and the philosophical method within a realistic approach of knowledge. At the same time we see, from their will to truth, that there is continuity, despite the differences, between science and philosophy. Keywords: Xavier Zubiri, intelligence, method, philosophy, science.
