Xavier Zubiri, amigo de la luz, maestro en la penumbra. –Vocación, vida intelectual y magisterio filosófico–
Resumen: El presente artículo muestra, siguiendo la biografía de Zubiri, la imbricación de la vocación, la vida intelectual y el magisterio filosófico. De la primera se estudia como surgió en Zubiri. De la segunda se describen los tres grandes proyectos de vida intelectual que acometió a lo largo de su existencia, abundando en el análisis y comprensión de la “retracción” zubiriana a partir de los años 40. En cuanto al magisterio filosófico, se destaca el discipulado de Zubiri en relación con sus maestros Ortega, Bergson y Heidegger, su concepción de la pedagogía filosófica y su modo genuino, sin pretenderlo, de ser “maestro”. Por último, se intenta dar cuenta, a partir de la filosofía madura de Zubiri, de su peculiar y original concepción de la vocación, la vida intelectual (en contraste con Ortega, Husserl y Heidegger) y el método pedagógico que Zubiri practicó en las aulas y el implícito en su obra Inteligencia sentiente. Se termina reivindicando, en el 25 aniversario de la muerte de Zubiri, el título de “maestro de España” para Zubiri discutiendo las razones y presupuestos que lo han impedido hasta ahora. Xavier Zubiri, a light’s friend, a teacher in the shadows.-Vocation, intellectual-life and philosophical teaching Abstract: This article shows, according to the biography of Zubiri, the interweaving of vocation, intellectual life and teaching philosophy. We see how the Zubiri’s vocation burst. We describe the three major intellectual projects that undertook throughout its existence, abounding in the analysis and understanding of the “retraction” zubiriana from the 40s. With regard to teaching philosophy, we emphasize discipleship of Zubiri in connection with their teachers Ortega, Bergson and Heidegger, their conception of teaching philosophy and his genuine way, unintentionally, to be “master”. Finally, we attempt to account, from the mature philosophy of Zubiri, his peculiar and original conception of the vocation, intellectual life (in contrast to Ortega, Husserl and Heidegger) and the teaching method that Zubiri practiced in the classroom and the method implicit in his work.
