Teología de la Familia

Resumen Marciano Vidal, conocido moralista, nos ofrece un esbozo de “Teología de la familia”, de la que afirma que, aunque está en ciernes y sin una síntesis, existen perspectivas valiosas. En comparación con la exuberancia teológica sobre el matrimonio –afirma–, la familia padece un déficit de teología.
Las perspectivas teológicas de la familia pueden ser formuladas mediante un conjunto de “principios” que constituyen, a la vez, criterios fontales y metas ideales de la realidad familiar. Reduzco a cuatro los principios teológicos de la familia. Esos cuatro principios quedan concretados en la afirmación-síntesis de la familia en cuanto Iglesia doméstica: principio trinitario, principio cristológico, principio eclesiológico y principio escatológico.

Abstract
Marciano Vidal, well known moralist, offers us an outline of “Theology of the Family”, about which he states that, although it is in the beginnings and without synthesis, there are valuable perspectives. In comparison with the theological exuberance of the marriage –he declares–, the family suffers a lack of theology.
The theological perspectives about family may be formulated through one group of principles that constitute at the same time, main criteria and ideal tasks of the family reality. I reduce the principles of the family to four. This four principles are expressed in concrete terms in the assert-synthesis of the family as Domestic Church: trinitary principle, christological principle, ecclesiological principle and eschatological principle.
