TELEOLOGICAL JUDGEMENT AND SYSTEM OF REASON IN KANT Abstract: The central problem in the Critique of Judgement is the conciliation between nature and morality, because the latter must be fulfilled in the former. This demand is expressed in the task that Kant assigns to his third Critique: “to connect the two parts of Philosophy into a whole”. This article studies the teleological Judgement from the point of view of this systematic aim. It shows that an interpretation of nature according to the connecting thread of teleology allows to think on the agreement between nature and the purposes of freedom. The starting point is the interpretation of natural organisms as purposes. This implies the relation of the world´s nature with a supersensible Understanding. The arrival point is the idea of a final purpose, in which there is a coincidence beween the final purpose of world´s existence and that of man, as the subject of morality. Key words: Kant, nature, morality, conciliation, Judgement, organism, man, teleology, natural purpose, system of purposes, ultimate purpose, final purpose.
