LÓGICA Y VERDAD EN EL PRIMER MANUEL SACRISTÁN

Sumario: Este artículo estudia las ideas lógicas de Manuel Sacristán, uno de los más importantes introductores de la lógica contemporánea en la Universidad española. El autor se centra en las relaciones entre ciencia, filosofía y lógica en la obra de Sacristán, durante el periodo que abarca desde sus estudios en el Institut für mathematische Logik und Grundlagenforschung de la Universidad de Münster (Alemania) hasta su expulsión de la Universidad española en 1965. El autor destaca en el pensamiento lógico de Sacristán la relación de la lógica con los objetivos de la filosofía clásica, así como diversas críticas al neopositivismo y al convencionalismo, donde se muestra la influencia de Quine y Scholz. LOGIC AND TRUTH IN THE FIRST MANUEL SACRISTÁN Abstract: This article studies the logic ideas of Manuel Sacristán, one of the main introducers of contemporary logic in the Spanish University in the 50’s and 60’s decades. The author focuses on the relations among science, philosophy and logic, during the period that embraces from his studies at the Institut für mathematische Logik und Grundlagenforschung of University of Münster (Germany) to his expulsion from the Spanish University in 1965. The author points out the relationship between logic and the objectives of classic philosophy in the logical thinking of Sacristán, as well as different critics to neopositivism and conventionalism, where the influence of Quine and Scholz is shown.
