LOS INTERESES FILOSÓFICOS DEL HUMANISMO EN FELIPE MELANCHTHON: EL LENGUAJE
Resumen: Los intereses filosóficos del Humanismo se centran en el lenguaje y en la historia, que ofrecen la posibilidad de ampliar el canon de las artes liberales y desarrollar una filosofía que sirva a la vida y se aleje del formalismo lógico de la Escolástica. La relevancia filosófica del lenguaje en Melanchthon se sostiene en una dialéctica entre lenguaje, pensamiento y ethos, que hace que todo conocimiento de la realidad no sea sino extraído a partir del lenguaje. Esto muestra que la merma de la metafísica medieval fue renovada. El pensamiento sobre el lenguaje tiene además una tendencia nominalista que limitó el conocimiento de la existencia al mundo objetivo, individual y concreto. No obstante, la comprensión filosófica melanchthoniana no obedece al conocimiento crítico nominalista de la tardía Edad Media, la base de su pensamiento es filológico humanista, lo que lo une con el Renacimiento italiano. The philosophical significance of language in Ph. Melanchthon stands in a dialectic between language, thought, and ethos, which makes that all knowledge of reality be taken from the language. This shows that the decline of medieval metaphysics was renewed. The thought about language also has a nominalist trend, which limited the knowledge of the existence to an objective, individual and concrete world. However, the understandins of Melanchthon philosophy has nothing to do with the critical and nominalist knowledge of the late Middle Ages. The basis of its thought is humanistic philological, what unites it with the Italian Renaissance.
