Abstract: T h e question of God according to Heidegger'. Despite the appearances, Heidegger's philosophy does include a number of thesis regarding the question of God, the sacred, the religions and Christianity. Around the times of Being and Time Heidegger attempts to carry out a mainly agnostic philosophy, admitting in any case the legitimacy of stating the question of God and faith on a non-philosophical basis. Later, at the turn of the 30's, this author abandons such agnosticism and, from the point of view of a free thought, beyond the metaphysical and theological margins of Christianity and occidental philosophy, asks again about the divine within the broader framework of the sacral character that defines it and the vital threat implied in the modern technical mentality.
