LA VIOLENCIA DE GÉNERO. PREVENCIÓN EDUCATIVA
Genre violence. Educational prevention
ABSTRACT: Inequality and sex stereotypes, constitute important risk factors of genre violence that continues destroying our society. It’s necessary a social and educational transformation to be able to obtain equalitarian relations, to undo traditional beliefs that imply authority and control of men over woman, and are constraining and dangerous for both. In this process the educational methodology has to be participative, based on the dialogue and the social criticism, being the interactions the principal pedagogical instrument. The community participation of all the social agents has shown an effective instrument, and it is necessary to work cognitive, affective and relationship aspects with it. The aim is to obtain genre relations without hierarchies, impositions or inequality, with men and women who feel free to behave without the restrictions that bear the traditional genre mandates, affectively autonomous with control on their own lives and with agreeable relationships full of affection. This, will make impossible any genre violence. Key words: Genre violence, sex stereotypes, education. 73
