EL LENGUAJE AFIRMATIVO SOBRE DIOS EN NICOLÁS DE CUSA Resumen: La obra De docta ignorantia ha condicionado frecuentemente la interpretación de Nicolás de Cusa en el sentido de un cierto agnosticismo teológico. No se podría conocer a Dios. Y el más elevado saber consistiría en reconocer esta ignorancia. Parece que de Dios sólo cabría decir lo que no es. Sin negar la importancia del lenguaje negativo, de la teología negativa, en este pensador, dirijo aquí mi atención a su concepción y valoración del lenguaje afirmativo. Aludo en primer lugar a algunos presupuestos imprescindibles para entender esta cuestión. Luego analizo las relaciones entre lenguaje afirmativo y negativo. Me detengo a continuación en la consideración del mundo y del hombre como lenguaje de Dios. Al final aludo al tema de los nombres de Dios como expresión de la teología afirmativa de Nicolás de Cusa. THE AFFIRMATIVE LANGUAGE ABOUT GOD IN NICHOLAS OF CUSA Abstract: The work De docta ignorantia has determined frequently the interpretation of Nicholas of Cusa in the sense of a certain theological agnosticism. It might not meet God. And the highest to know would consist of recognizing this ignorance. It seems that of God only it would be necessary to say what is not. Without denying the importance of the negative language, of the negative theology, in this thinker, I direct here my attention to his conception and evaluation of the affirmative language. I allude first of all to some essential suppositions to understand this question. Then I analyze the relations between affirmative and negative language. I stop next in the consideration of the world and of the man as God’s language. At the end I allude to the topic of the God’s names as expression of the affirmative theology of Nicholas of Cusa.
