FROM THE CONSTRUCTION OF IDEAL WORLS TO THE DELIGHT OF REALITY: ABOUT WILLBEING
Abstract: In this essay, we analyse how is affected zubirian description of sentiment as delight of reality to the idea of wellbeing. Traditionally, wellbeing is included on the morality analysis and, by extension, the will analysis. It seems we have to insert his eldest texts devoted to this topic into the same tradition, which goes back at least to Plato and Aristotle. However, it is not what is deduced from the exam of the last texts by Zubiri. The hypothesis we want to present here is that sentiment’s experience is different from the moral experience, which is the reason why not every sentimental good is a moral one. Key words: intellect, sentiment, volition, wellbeing, Zubiri.
